 Good News 📖

In a day and time where there’s so much pain and misery in the world and there are so many people in the world that suffer from hopelessness and they try to medicate their pain with relationships, careers, money, sex, alcohol and drugs, we are walking around strategically placed by God with the solution to the worlds problems.

God has saved us for and with a purpose. We are in the midst of hurting people daily who need the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. Many people in the world have their game faces on, but at night when it is quiet and they are alone or having time alone to gather their thoughts, many are struggling to find that hope and just have peace. 

Body of Christ, we know the Prince of Peace intimately and we are not to keep it to ourselves, we should be screaming from the mountaintops about the love that God offers to everyone. We are not afraid or ashamed to talk about or praise our spouses or our children, why not tell someone about our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ and the great love He has for us, the love that drove him to Calvary’s cross to become a curse in our place?

“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

We are not to hide or hold the gospel just for ourselves, Christ died for all.

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

When God saved us, He gave us the job of telling people of His glorious gospel and reconciling the world back to Him.

“so that those who live should no longer live self-absorbed lives but lives that are poured out for him—the one who died for us and now lives again. So, from now on, we refuse to evaluate people merely by their outward appearances. For that’s how we once viewed the Anointed One, but no longer do we see him with limited human insight. Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God. We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.” For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God through our union with him.”

Daily, pray and ask God to send someone across your path to minister to and ask God to give you a specific word for that person and pray that their hearts will be softened to receive that word and to receive Christ.

Don’t be disappointed if they don’t receive him, some water the ground, others till it, but it’s God who gives the increase. Remember, we are to share the word, it is The Holy Spirit’s job to convict them and draw them to Christ.

Prayer: Father God I pray that for every believer that reads this, You will ignite a fire and burning in them for loss souls and a compassion and love in them that will love people to Christ with their every conversation, cause every encounter they have with lost souls to be entrenched in the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. 

God You saturate them with Your yoke destroying, burden removing anointing and God we give you glory, honor and praise that it is done, in Jesus matchless and mighty name Amen.
