How does one get left behind? Not being ready, not being prepared. This also goes for Heaven. If you say, I’m a good person, I give to the poor and I treat people right and that’s your basis for assuming you are ready for Heaven, then you’re not ready and it is inevitable that you would be left behind to endure the tribulation without a major change in your thoughts, perception and realization that you can’t be ready on your own, none of us can.
