 Spirit Of Compromise 


 

There is a poison in the world that is rooted in the spirit realm, It is compromise. Compromise shouldn’t be in the body of Christ, but more often than not some in the body of Christ will say, this or that isn’t that bad. 


If God and His word encourages us not to be a part of something, then that should be good enough for us, but the same way Satan deceive Eve in the garden, he has some believers deceived today.


How can we as God’s body, indulge in sin and even have that uneasy feeling that is nudging at us in the form of God’s Holy Spirit and override the Holy Spirit and continue in sin anyway?


All we have to do is ask ourselves, is what we’re doing building us up spiritually and feeding our spirit-man or is it contaminating us spiritually and drawing us further and further away from God?


Many have went to concerts and thought nothing of what they were hearing as Satanic music was being pumped into their spirit, while also being exposed by others to recreational drug fumes.


Others would go to a movie and declare it’s just a movie while witchcraft, sorcery, murder and immoral lifestyles are being portrayed on the screen and you are getting constantly desensitized to the fact that we as Christians are not to be a part of or entertain such movies.


Quite a few people that label themselves as Christians don’t see anything wrong with drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes, but according to God’s word, our bodies are the temple of God and we should be keeping our temple clean, pure and Holy.


There has to be something different about us, inwardly and outwardly if we are going to reach the world for Christ. If we are sitting in the club or sitting in an R-rated movie or a movie that goes against scripture, how could we expect to lead the world to Christ? 


Compromise is a spiritual cancer in the body of Christ and the only way to get rid of it is true repentance and being godly sorry.


“Don’t continue to team up with unbelievers in mismatched alliances, for what partnership is there between righteousness and rebellion? Who could mingle light with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Satan? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What friendship does God’s temple have with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you. I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.”

God, forgive me for allowing myself to compromise against Your word. Please forgive me for all my sin and please renew a right spirit in me, deliver me from all evil and unrighteousness and Lord I renounce compromise and sin and I ask You to have Your way in my life, in Jesus name Amen.

Forgiveness

 Forgiveness is a word that we can have much discussion on these days. We live in a world where complete strangers have been known to fuss and cuss people out, over a parking space or someone passing them or getting in front of them on the highway.
